Wednesday, July 14th- Park

Today we went to the park where Jia was found.  It was beautiful.  They have incredible louts flowers everywhere.  The girls had the chance to play on a playground for a few minutes and loved it.  They really need that time to run and play.  We went to the gate near where she was found and our guide talked to a lady who works there.  She remembered the day a tourist found her.  She remained at the park for about an hour before the police came to get her and while they waited someone brought her clothes and toys. It was an emotional place to visit and think about.  We are grateful to everyone who played a role in keeping her safe.    For lunch we ate at a "hot pot" restaurant which is similar to our fondue.  It was very good and different from anything we have had in China.  We cooked beef, lamb, potatoes, mushrooms, and some green vegetable in a broth.  We also ate the only sweet thing we have had at a restaurant this trip, a bready doughnut type thing that everyone loved.   Lillie Mei is asleep and Jia is in her stroller talking non-stop.  We leave the acrobatic show in just a little bit.  I will post more pictures later.
